Welcome on the website of Utopiaggia

Utopiaggia is an intentional community that exists in Umbria, Central Italy, since 1982. 18 adults live and work together here, many of whom were born around the middle of the last century.

In our understanding intentional communities share values, principles, objectives, intentions that they have agreed upon in their beginning and that develop with the members over time. We take decisions on the basis of group discussions.
Throughout its history, Utopiaggia has focused on developing and practicing social forms of living together without hierarchy, in solidarity, as equals in a co-productive relationship with nature.
